Polsri . 28/5/21. Taking place at the Sriwijaya State Polytechnic (Polsri) campus, the signing of the scholarship contract from PT. Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA) in collaboration with the Polsri for Diploma III students. The event was attended by Polsri, Deputy Director IV Drs. Zakaria, M.Pd, Deputy Director III Ahmad Zamheri, ST.M.T., as well as elements of the leadership of the Department of Polsri, while from PAMA, Mr. Muchammad Ismail as HCGS Dept. Head, Faizal Imron D as CSR SectionHead and Mr. Joko Budi Santoso and the scholarship recipients.
PAMA collaborated with the National Polsri to accommodate students in the operational area of PT. Pamapersada Nusantara Tanjung Enim (MTBU) in the South Sumatra region. The number of PAMA scholarship applicants is 63 people, from the selection results that meet the criteria required by PAMA, there are 10 people who are entitled to receive scholarships.
Muchammad Ismail said in his speech, the PAMA scholarship program was given to support the government’s program to educate the nation’s children, the cost of education for 2 semesters and assistance to complete the Final Project (TA). This program is motivated by the large number around PAMA work sites, young people who want to continue their higher education but are constrained by the cost of education. This is what encourages PAMA to stimulate to improve the quality of the younger generation to a higher level, through this scholarship program, congratulations to the selected brothers and sisters and hopefully this program can help finance the process of studying at the Indonesian Polsri.
Scholarship recipients are active students who have met the requirements of the selection of scholarship recipients. The Single Tuition Fee (UKT) is paid directly to the National Polsri as well as donations for educational development and assistance for students who are working on their final assignments/reports.
Zakaria as Deputy Director IV of Polsri, expressed his deepest gratitude to PAMA for making a big contribution in helping people who study at Polsri, so that they are not burdened with education costs, with the hope that scholarship recipients can increase the value of the cumulative achievement index (GPA) and semester achievement index (IPS). This is not the first time PAMA has awarded this scholarship, but several times in the previous year. Zakaria hopes that this collaboration can continue in the following years and not only provide scholarships but students can also do internships at PAMA.
