PT.BA Handed Over 24 New Students of PTV – IDUKA Program in collaboration with POLSRI and PT. Acid Hill

Thursday, October 15, 2020, the Sriwijaya State Polytechnic (Polsri) received new students from the POLSRI collaboration program with PT. Bukit Asam through the BIDIKSIBA scholarship for the 2020/2021 Academic Year. The handover was carried out directly by the CSR Senior Manager of PT. Bukit Aswam Persero (Tbk) Zulfikar Azhar along with several CSR ranks of PT. Acid Hill. Zulfikar Azhar said that as many as 24 new students from the Bidikaba program were handed over to the Indonesian National Polsri who were spread over several existing departments. This program aims to help economically disadvantaged children who are in the PTBA scope of work. To get a Diploma III (D3) education at Polsri with the hope that after getting education at D3 they can improve their family’s economic condition.


During the education of students, all costs are borne by PTBA including living and housing costs in Palembang, not only that, facilities that support students to study are also provided by PTBA such as laptops, etc.
The event for the submission of new students for the BIDIKSIBA program was received directly by Drs. Zakaria, M.Pd as Vice Director IV of the Indonesian National Polsri. Zakaria expressed his gratitude to PTBA for entrusting the National Polsri to carry out this collaboration which has entered its 9th year. He also said that this time there was a difference in the learning process because it was done online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “Likewise, this submission process was previously carried out at PTBA but this year it was carried out at the Polsri campus.
Zakaria also said that BIDIKSIBA students for 3 years at the National Polsri will be given coaching consisting of Academic and Non-Academic coaching, especially Non-Academic coaching can be consulted directly with the Polsri cooperation staff.
