One of the 2023 International Indonesian Students Mobility Awards (IISMA) awardees from the Srwijaya State Polytechnic (Polsri) named M. Zidane Attallah was successfully accepted at the University of Nottingham, UK. In accepting the scholarship program which is overseen by the Ministry of Education and Culture, the student, whose nickname is Zidane, was the only student from South Sumatra Province, Indonesia, who was accepted at the University of Nottingham, UK.
On September 29 2023, right at the welcoming reception held by the University of Nottingham, the IISMA awardees who came from Indonesia, and students who were studying at the university gave remarks, including Zidane who also gave his message and impression during The implementation of the IISMA 2023 program is underway.
In delivering his remarks, Zidane also gave a plaque as a souvenir from the Sriwjaya State Polytechnic to one of the representative leaders from the University of Nottingham, UK. The aim of giving the plaque was to introduce the Sriwjaya State Polytechnic to the University of Nottingham, UK.
Hopefully this IISMA program can continue to run well in the future, and more and more Sriwijaya State Polytechnic students can be accepted to study at the University of Nottingham, UK in the next years.
