In the Academic Year 2016/2017, State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya starts recruiting students for Applied Master Program of Renewable Energy Engineering. The curriculum, facilties and human resource are already prepared. The curriculum design involved Senior Expert in the field of renewable energy engineering from SES Germany, Prof. Dr. Werner Rammensee, Technical Assitance for curriculum design was conducted from 5 January to 2 February 2016. The technical assistance was addressed for broadening insight and skill of faculty of Applied Master Program Renewable Energy Engineering State Polyteechnic of Sriwijaya. The main purpose of this assistance was for making sure that the curriculum, syllabus and lesson plan suitable with nastional and international standard. Human resources for this program are from Department of Chemical Engineerin, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration. Topics being discussed in this program covered Biomass Energy Technology, Biomass Energy Conversion Laboratory, Solar Energy Technology, Solar Energy Conversion Laboratory, Wind Energy Technology, Wind Energy Conversion Laboratory, Renewable Energy Resources, Socio-economic and Environmental, Modelling and Simulation, Advanced of Thermodynamic Advanced of Heat and Mass Transfer, Energy Efficiency, Research Methodology and Scientific Writing.
