The annual agenda of Polytechnics throughout Indonesia is to hold an English communication skills competition which is now known as the National Polytechnic English Championship (NPEO). In 2021 the 8th NPEO was held virtually by the Semarang State Polytechnic, this activity was participated by all Polytechnics in Indonesia, the activity took place from 15 to 17 June 2021 with various categories of competitions (speech, writing, debate, newscasting and storytelling), based on the results of the assessment from the jury of the Sriwijaya State Polytechnic (Polsri) managed to win in several categories so that Polsri came out as the overall champion.
1. Speech master 2nd place on behalf of Dwi (English)
2. Debate master 1st place on behalf of Romi (Mechanical Engineering) and Nadia (English)
3. The Best Speaker 2nd Place on behalf of Romi (Mechanical Engineering)
4. The Best Speaker, 5th place in the name of Nadia (English).
5. POLSRI overall champion.
