Not to be outdone by his seniors and seniors in previous years, Fiorina Chukwu, a student of the English Department who became the National Polsri representative at the National Selection of Outstanding Student (Pilmapres) has made it into the top 15 nationally. This is based on the announcement of the Acting Head of the National Achievement Center Number: 1682/J3/KM.01.00/2021 on August 24, 2021.
Successfully entering the finalist of the National Pilmapres, this has become the ‘Culture’ of Sriwijaya State Polytechnic students. At least since the last 8 years, the Indonesian National Polsri envoy has always been successfully selected to go to the final round of the national level which is only attended by 15 students (only) throughout Indonesia. Of course, this cannot be separated from the support and support from the student affairs section of the Polsri. Election Coordinator of the National Polsri Pilmapres; Maulan Irwadi, SE, M.Si, Ak expressed his happiness and pride for this achievement. The lecturer who has a hobby of singing said “we are very serious in choosing and preparing Polsri students to be brought to represent the Indonesian National Polsri in the national round,” said Maulan. Fio himself in the midst of busyness as the general chairman of the UKM EDS Polsri must share time to prepare all things related to the final round later.
Furthermore, Fio will take part in the Online Election Final. There are at least 3 abilities that will be tested by the judges at the national level to the participants. Includes English or foreign language skills; scientific work and leadership/organizational experience.
